I am a creative director with over 20 years of experience developing corporate and brand identity programs for a broad range of clients, from global corporations to startups. I deliver high-level thinking and design systems that enable new brands to compete in a crowded marketplace and venerable brands to remain relevant.
While working for noted international brand identity firms such as Landor, Luxon Carra, and MetaDesign, I reimagined and reenergized brand development for airline, finance, publishing, technology, and biotech clients. Internal roles include Creative Director of Brand at the University of Phoenix where I led the team to complete an award-winning brand identity system, and as Design Director at Gensler I helped develop a brand program that accurately conveyed the culture and values of a global design and architecture firm of exceptional breadth.
Currently I provide an array of services including visual design for interactive media, print, and branding for Dubberly Design Office, AVG Securities, Embarcadero Partners, ICF International, and Palo Alto Networks. Most of my clients and teams are individuals I have worked with repeatedly over
I began my career in Canada and moved to San Francisco via Stockholm, Sweden. I’ve completed contracts in Switzerland, UAE, and Czech Republic. I hold an MFA from Cranbrook Academy of Art, Bloomfield Hills, Michigan and I’m an honors graduate from the Ontario College of Art and Design in Toronto, Canada, and a recipient of the Design Canada Award. I’ve served on the Board of Directors of the AIGA/SF, and as adjunct faculty at both San José State University and Academy of Art University. I was selected as one of six women selected to speak at the 2010 Alberta College of Art & Design Stirring Culture Lecture Series “Women Innovators in Design”.
